About Strive, Inc. Non-profit Efforts
Strive, Inc. is the 501c3 nonprofit counterpart of Strive Recreational Therapy. This nonprofit organization exists to bring recreational therapy services to those who do not have the financial means or insurance coverage for such. Group programs are also offered to special events including but not limited to sporting events, concerts, and travel.
Strive, Inc. prides itself on providing one of the nation’s premier disabled sporting competitions for athletes with physical disabilities known as the Michigan Victory Games. Athletes with physical disabilities compete in a variety of different opportunities such as bowling, track, field, cycling, boccia, slalom, table tennis, and powerlifting. Persons who might qualify for the Michigan Victory Games include those with Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, and Spina Bifida to name a few. Those participating in the Michigan Victory Games can also qualify to train and hopefully compete in elite competitions such as the Paralympics and Worlds Games.
