- Michigan Department of Education – The Michigan Department of Education was granted a federal waiver for meals to be served while schools are closed. Under this waiver the Michigan Department of Education is allowing schoolsthat participate in the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, and Summer Food Service Program to serve meals during this time. Information for sites that wish to do so is available along with webinars and training videos for the SFSP.

Business Closures/Help:
- UPDATED: SBA Guidance for Businesses and Employers to Plan and Respond to COVID-19: On March 16 Governor Whitmer indicated she would seek an Economic Injury Disaster Loan Declaration for the state with it expected by the end of the week. - Telecommunication: FCC launched the Keep America Connected Pledge so where telecommunication companies pledge not to terminate any service to any residential or small business customers because of inability to pay their bills due to disruptions caused by COVID-19; waive any late fees that any residential or small business customers incur because of economic circumstances related to COVID-19, and open Wi-Fi hotspots to any American who needs them.
